Reviews and Ratings

Lynn Van Der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Rich and almost opaque ruby red in the glass. Aromas of black plum and vanilla transform into juicy dark berry flavours, some great structure of acidity and tannin mid-palate, and a persistent spicy finish.
Would pair perfectly with barbecued meals.
Drinking well now, or lay down for a few more years.
Tasted May 2017.
Ribera Del Duero robust red is made from Tempranillo wine grapes grown in clay soils. Embocadero San Pedro Regalado (2012). Great value for the dollar on this powerful red wine. Pair with grilled meats. - Community Wine Reviews

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
