Classic Old World Pinot Noir! Juicy and expressive with an amazingly great price. Aromas of sour cherry, wild violets and plush layers of hedonistic happiness. Love it! Medium-bodied and complex. In the Côte Chalonnaise region, the Mercurey district is the largest, and known for producing the best wine. Pair with roast chicken or turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Mouthwatering, juicy and ready to enjoy. Tasted the 2012 vintage in Oct 2017. Absolutely gorgeous. Accessibly priced and great value. Old world style, integrating medium plus tannins, medium plus acidity, well balanced. Tart cherry, graphite minerality, some baking spice. Pairs well with roast turkey, pizza night, antipasti, and also drinks well on its own. 91 points. BespokeTastings
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Tasted in 2020, still showing lovely acidity. Aromas of cherry, cranberry, earth, leather and warm spice. Medium bodied and vibrant on the palate, with fresh and tart berry notes, and more leather and earthy notes on the finish. Enjoy with dried salumi and hard cheeses.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A fresh and tangy Pinot from Burgundy france. Apple, sour cherry, herbs and spice. A lovely wine to enjoy with poultry with cranberry sauce. Tasted January 2015. 88 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
