Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

How they continue to sell this wine at this price point is beyond me. This wine screams pot roast. It has lots of black briar, savoury herbs, hung game, cassis and a hit of sarsaparilla. At $17, it represents one of the best values in Vintages. 90 Points.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Great price point on this robust wine. Aromas of blackberry, raspberry, black pepper, leather and a hint of anise. Full bodied with some young tannins, lots of ripe fruit on the palate and a slightly spicy finish. Enjoy with grilled lamb.
From KWV, the 2016 vintage of the robust Cathedral Cellar Shiraz is full-bodied with lots of ripe berry fruit, smoky on the palate with a slightly spicy finish. Enjoy with grilled lamb. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
