Natalie's Score: 91/100 Chook refers to the roosters that strut their stuff on the winery property. Aromas of blackberry preserves, blackcurrant jam lusciousness with some mint. Layers and layers and layers of pleasure. Eyes closed kinda wine. Some violets and cedar on this finish. Highly recommended. Loaded with fleshy ripe dark berries and vanilla spice from toasty oak aging. Good mouth-watering acidity on the palate leads to a clean finish. Pair with a juicy steak.
Shiraz Viognier food pairings: chicken pieces in creamy gravy, rosemary lamb, pepper steak.

Full-bodied, perfumed, balanced and bursting with flavours of dark fruit and spice, kicked up a notch with that 4% Viognier. A multi-award winner and it's easy to see why when you taste it. If there's a Shiraz lover on your gift list, give them this for a little variety. Tasted Nov. 2017

Deep inky purple in colour with extravagant and pronounced aromas of dark plum, black cherry, blackcurrant, cassis and ripe stewed strawberry. Additionally there are also notes of vanilla, clove, pepper, coffee and smoke. Flavours echo the notes aromas with some rich spicy cigar box and touches of herbs and cranberry. Absolutely delicious. High acidity, medium plus body and finish. Velvety and polished high tannins with a gorgeous mouth watering spiciness lingering. Pair with pepper steak and sausages. 91 points - December 2017
