Love this southern French rose! Robust and bursting with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and spice. Completely dry and mouth-watering. I also love the other rose from this winery labeled Chateau D'Aqueria rather than Marquis. Pair with planked salmon and roast chicken.

Rosé food pairings: baked ham, cedar-planked salmon, seared tuna.

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Perfect for a hot summer day. A clear, summery coral Rosé, blended from Grenache, Syrah and Clairette grapes. Dry and mouthwatering, showing bright, fruity aromas and flavours with touches of garrique. Enjoy with savoury appetizers, Mediterranean fare or spicy sausages.
Tasted May 2018
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Bright red rose, dry, high mouthwatering acidity, medium alcohol. Tart black berry, tart red berry, blood orange and a hint of spice on a medium finish. Pairs well with cedar plank smoked salmon. Tasted 2017 vintage in May 2018. 91 points
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I might buy this wine for the colour alone! Beautifully hued, a cross between salmon and coral, this lovely southern French rosé is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Clairette. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon pith, blood orange, and a bit of a floral nose. Bright and balanced acidity on the palate, medium bodied, and nice citrus flavours come through on the palate. Lengthy finish. Rosé's like this are so versatile, enjoy with a variety of appetizers, salads with fruit vinaigrette, seafood, smoked salmon, or enjoy as a patio sipper before dinner.
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted May 21, 2018. Colour clear bright light salmon. Legs medium. Aromas and flavours of red fruit, cherry, strawberry, raspberry, citrus, orange peel. Taste dry, fruity, red fruit and citrus peel, medium bodied, mouthwatering, medium alcohol. Finish medium plus with mouthwatering red fruit citrus. Nice wine good value. Highly recommended to try. I am a fan of wine from the region of Tavel. Grenache, Syrah, Clairette blend. I had fresh corn on the cob, jasmine rice, and Dave’s Mocha chicken legs ( soy sauce, strong coffee, brown sugar, sherry) the wine complimented the dish.
By adding that citrus fruitiness.
Marquis D'aqueria Tavel 2017 is an elegant and medium-bodied rosé with a blend of Grenache, Clairette, Cinsault, Mourvedre, Syrah, Bourboulenc and Picpoul wine grapes from the Rhône Valley wine region. Look for ripe raspberries, cherries, light herbs and some citrus on this Tavel. Serve chilled. Ideal pairing with spring salads and herbed goat cheese. - Community Wine Reviews
