Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Smoke, graphite, black plums, and a hint of vanilla and chocolate give this deep ruby wine an enticing aroma. On the palate, the abundant rounded tannins give it a great structure, and the plum, cassis, and blackberry flavours match well with the medium-high acidity. This is a great wine for a barbecued beef tenderloin.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Big and chewy, a full-throttle wine saturated with rich and ripe dark berry, chocolate, toasty oak and spice flavours, supported by a good balance of acidity and silky tannins. Boom!
Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Wolf Blass Gold Label Shiraz 2014 features beautiful aromas of dark berry fruit, plum, oak and spice. Full bodied and nice long finish. Tasted October 2016 (90/100)
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Dark cherry red, almost purple in the glass, with blackberry, cherry and blueberries - hint of oak. The palate gives way to a blend of rich flavors - more berries, plums, well integrated oak, and subtle tannins. The wine is aged for 21 months after fermentation in old and new French oak barrels. Drink now or later.
