Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

grapefruit, lime, touch of lychee, bright acidity and aromatic. Good balance for a very affordable wine. Beautiful pairing for salads, especially shaved asparagus and parmesan.
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Clear very pale wine with loads of grapefruit peel on the nose. Classic gooseberry, herby notes. Clean and crisp with grapefruit and slightly underripe gooseberries following through on the palate. Juicy medium finish. Great value.
Jay Denney rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Everything you want out of a Kiwi Sauv Blanc, and at a great price. Big aroma of citrus and fresh grass clippings. Lemon, lime, and gooseberry burst out of the chute and don`t let go. Crisp but not astringent. This would be brilliant with pad thai.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is lovely, a great value, and a little more subtle than some NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Aromas of grapefruit, lime pith, along with some gooseberry and lychee, and a hint of that tinned peas note. Light and bright on the palate with vibrant citrus and tropical notes. Enjoy with fresh green salads and spring vegetable dishes including asparagus and fresh peas.
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Very pale light bodied dry wine. The wine has a pronounced gooseberry aroma with a hint of lemon peeking out from under the gooseberry layer. Gooseberry and lemon are the main tastes. This will be very refreshing in summer!
