A full-bodied PEC red wine made from cool-climate Cabernet Franc grapes. Juicy with lots of acidity and satin smooth texture with red cherry notes. No bell pepper. Pair with grilled pork chops.

A robust wine, for Prince Edward County. There's some age on this wine, but it still has loads of youth. Lots of minerality, but that should be expected in PEC.
A little bit of funky truffle on the nose, coupled with graphite, wet stone, blackberry, cassis, dried cranberry, and some toasty oak notes (I love how tasteful the oak is, here). It's their premium Cab Franc for a reason.
Ontario Cab Franc is best enjoyed (in my opinion) with root veggies and something gamey. Try duck, cranberries, and rosemary parsnips for a smart match.

Like all wines at The Grange this Cab. Franc saw minimal oak as the winery uses older neutral barrels for aging. Lots of fruit; cherry, raspberry and black currant both on the nose and palate. Soft tannins with bright acidity. Full body with a long finish. #TasteOntario2016

A lovely and smooth Cabernet Franc. Aromas re fresh and ripe as opposed to some which have a green note. Currant, plum, and ripe berries are all evident on the nose and carry through to the palate. Full bodied, smooth tannin and a long finish. Acid is lovely and balanced. This would definitely be a steak wine for me. (March 2016).

Deep violet color. Notes of black currant and raspberry fruit with a black pepper savory edge. Dark fruit is balanced on the palate by cigar box complexity, spice and firm tannins.

Fermented in stainless steel, 28-day primary fermentation for extended maceration. Aged 24 months in neutral French oak barriques prior to bottling.
