A lovely yeasty, freshly baked bread note on the nose of this vibrant, beautifully balanced Austrian white wine made from the country's iconic Gruner Veltliner grape. Fresh, racy acidity to take on seafood and shellfish as well as vegetarian dishes. This wine is Demeter certified, and is made using biodynamic farming principles which go well beyond organic methods to respect the earth and the people making this wine. Highly recommended.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Organic and biodynamically sustained, this Gruner Veltliner was a delight. Very clean with an almost colourless pale straw with aromas of light melon, mild pear, delicate cucumber and canned green beans. A touch of minerality and a metallic note. On the palate, echoed flavours of citrus, lemon curd, cucumber and melon. Also a small note of blossom. Medium acidity, light body and finish. Delicate and elegant. Pair with light micro greens and cucumber salads and sashimi. - Tasted November 2017
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautiful! Grüner Veltliner is one of my go-to oyster and shellfish wines and this is no exception. Aromas of baked bread, pithy lemon and a hint of white pepper. Dry, with mouthwatering acidity, vibrant lemon and peppery notes and a yeasty, bready note on the finish. Delicious! This vineyard practices biodynamic farming and the wine is certified organic.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Zesty, lime peel, white pepper, huge acidity, minerality, mouthwatering. Paired well with salmon sashimi. Tasted 2014 vintage in Nov 2017. 91 points. #bespoketastings
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A buttery, juicy, floral, and zesty lemon Grüner Veltliner. The palate boasts high mouthwatering acidity with lasting lemon, pickled ginger and slightly grassy notes. Enjoy this light-bodied white with seafood sashimi. Tasted Nov 2017 by @sommsosa / bespoketastings.ca
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A bright and pale yellow wine that has aromas of pear, tropical fruit and truffle. The mentioned fruit follows through on the palate. It is dry with crisp acidity. Would pair nicely with sushi.
