Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Grapefruit, gooseberry, lemongrass, smoke, mineral, green grape. Crisp and creamy and a little bitter, and a long lingering savouriness like a good cheese. There is a lot going on here! Would go with a great varierty of cheese, particularly aged hard cheese like parm, manchego, or a smoked chedder. Would also go excellent with a grilled fish.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Refreshing and crisp, mouthwatering with aromatics of lime zest, lemongrass, a hint of sweet basil. A great companion for sushi, herb roasted chicken or Seasonal favourite roast turkey with fixings. Tasted Dec 2016. Rated 89/100.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

On the nose, there are aromas of peach, petrol, almond, saline, herbal notes, and white flower.

On the palate, there are flavours of peach, lychee, lemon, clementine, mineral notes, and a slightly bitter almond finish.

Enjoy with seafood salad.

Tasted May 2018

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Tropical and fresh. Inviting and easy to drink. This Sauv Blanc is produced by the Goliath of the Canadian wine industry, Mission Hill.
They have more area under vine than anyone else in Canada... By far!
Their Sauv has lots of crisp acidity. A deep yellow colour, and aromas of melon, gooseberry, and passionfruit.
Lemongrass tea, lemon, more guava and passionfruit, and a pleasing finish.
Put this alongside your hipster avocado toast. You know you want some....
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of lemon-lime and white grapefruit, also leaning more to bright, tropical notes - mango and guava are subtle but present on the palate. Nice balance of flavours. Enjoy with seafood, and summer salads.
Mission Hill's Reserve 2015 Sauvignon Blanc is zesty with ripe melon, lemon-lime citrus and light gooseberry on the nose. This Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant and has some weight to it. Clean, crisp and refreshing on the palate with light green herbs -- nettle, basil and a touch of sage, citrus zest and spice. - Community Wine Reviews
