Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A radiant, bright straw yellow sparkling wine at a much lower price than Champagne - with an intense bouquet of floral and apple and lingering flavors of freshly baked bread, apricot, persistently elegant bubbles and a hint of butterscotch.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Ferrari has been producing world-class Methodo Classico sparkling wine since 1902. A pioneer in premium Italian traditional method sparkling wine production, Ferrari, has been loved by many around the world for over a century. Not to be confused with another iconic Italian brand, this Ferrari has relied only on its delicious wines to build its international following. The founder's focus on creating a luxurious sparkling wine continues today with this third generation family business as Ferrari sparkling wine is enjoyed by many of the world's celebrities as their celebration wine of choice. Fortunately, this is the most affordable Ferrari, and Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine you can find, making it very accessible to all, not just those A-list celebs.

The Ferrari Brut is a non-vintage Blanc de Blancs (Chardonnay only) sparkling wine that was disgorged after over two years on its lees. The colour is a rich straw yellow, with a nose of sweet baked apples and pears, vanilla bean, biscuit, and flint minerality. The delicate mousse has a wonderful palate cleansing rich tree fruit and lemon curd finish. A very attractive and complex wine that sells for under $30, making it an absolute buy-by-the-case wine! Some of the finest bubbles I've enjoyed, especially at that price! Tasted annually since 2014, each year a consistent high quality wine. 92 points each tasting. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Fresh apples, lemon and toast. Lime cordial, toasted pine nuts and macadamia nuts. There is no shortage of complexity or flavour here. From the cooler Northern parts of Italy, it's perfect bubbly making country. This fresh little beauty is seriously great value and has a gorgeous length ending in a clean nutty finish. Try with baked clams and herby rice. @wrightwineblog
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Excellent value sparkling wine, hitting far above its "quality price ratio". Aromas of green apple and lime, with a hint of fresh bread, honey and stony, mineral note. Refreshing, vibrant, and dry, with bright acidity, crisp, fine bubbles, and tart fruit notes. Enjoy with fresh shellfish dishes or fried foods.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This opens with pastry and apple pie spices on the nose. The palate is juicy and citrusy and a touch of apricot on the finish. Lively with fine effervescence it would be a good choice for holiday parties or toasting. Tasted October 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
This Sparkler from the Alto Adige, Trentino wine region is made in the Méthode Traditionnelle. Ferrari Trento (NV) Brut is medium-plus-bodied and tasty with gold apple, marzipan, honey and light tropical fruit flavours. Ferrari, has been loved by many around the world for over a century. The founder's focus on creating a luxurious sparkling wine continues today with this third generation family business as Ferrari sparkling wine is enjoyed by many of the world's celebrities as their celebration wine of choice. Fortunately, this is a most affordable Ferrari, and Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine. - Community Wine Reviews
