These vines are planted in La Escultura. This is a rich, balanced and luscious Chilean Chardonnay that offers tremendous value and taste/quality for the price. Pair with roasted chicken or turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

Cherie Cole rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Grown in the gravel soil of the Casablanca Valley, the 2015 season started off warm with below average rainfall. The harvest was early yielding smaller grapes with great concentration.

The grapes were picked when the temperatures were cooler. Whole clusters of grapes were pressed. 20% of the grapes were fermented in old French oak for up to 15 days.

On the nose, this 100% Chardonnay presents aromas of tropical fruit such as pineapple, mango and passion fruit are predominant, followed by notes of toasty oak and vanilla. Tropical fruit repeats on the palate with a hint of oak and vanilla. The wine is crisp and clean yet silky.

Tasted at the Errazuriz Estate in Chile's Aconcagua Valley with winemaker Wladimir Medel Pino on January 12, 2016. Releasing in Feb, 2016.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

I would call this a "good value wine" for every day drinking. Not to heavy on the oak with a nice balance of tropical fruit and fresh acidity. A great pairing for creamed dishes!
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Fragrances of honeysuckle, pear, green apple and slight citrus. The palate is quite light for a Chardonnay, with more pronounced citrus and slight oak. A spring-summer white wine choice, for lunch or white fish.
Tasted April 2016
Valérie Dufour - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Vanilla and pear flavours with a touch of honey. Nice attack with some acidity and fruit. Good value. Nice weekday wine. Would pair well with carbonara or alfredo pasta.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Aromas of pear, melon, and a hint of honeysuckle. Bright fruit on the palate with a hint of honey on the palate. Try with a white fish with a cream sauce.
