The Carnivor Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 is a very enjoyable cabernet sauvignon. Great aromas and flavours of dark berries, blackberries, coffee, and a hint of caramel. Has a nice sweetness to it. Tasted on February 1, 2014 (89/100)
James Belardo rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

With a brand name like Carnivor they may not be targeting non-meat eaters too much, although it may get their attention. The Carnivor Cabernet Sauvignon sparks some pretty serious chocolate receptors on my palate with it's thick and smooth tone. I'd recommend this wine for grilled meats that are not heavily spiced. A good choice for grilled steak and potatoes.

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

A little one dimensional. Grapey and raisiny, a little floral, some vanilla.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Jammy, ripe fruit, with undertone of vanilla and oak on the nose. Similar on the palate, a bit sweet overall. Try this with ribs covered in BBQ sauce.
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Very dark extracted purple, the nose is somewhat shy with some blackberry, smoke and spice notes peaking through. Soft and rich on the palate and jammy with sweet ripe raisin and cherry fruit, chocolate and spice. Quite sweet with 15g/L residual sugar, this would work best with sweet BBQ sauces and grilled/braised beef and pork.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A little ripe berry fruit on nose and stewed fruit overload on the palate.
Kind of flat, dissapppointing body, soft fruity finish. Good be good with wings.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Vanilla, woody smoke, cassis and sweet black plum in the nose, with perhas a faint hint of graphite. The taste is full and soft with medium acidity and lots of round tannins. Black cherry and vanilla dominate the taste. The sweet fruitiness would pair well with a spicy puled pork sandwich.
