Le Clos Jordanne Le Clos Jordanne Vineyard Pinot Noir 2011, Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Even in this challenging vintage of 2011, Le Clos Jordanne's Pinot Noir from Le Clos Jordanne Vineyard performs well. The grapes for this wine grow in a warmer part of the vineyard, on the eastern side, and so it has a richer, fleshier style as compared to other leaner, more acidic pinots. Lovely notes of ripe cherry and some judicious oak. The winery uses a partial whole cluster fermentation and some pressing which results in a fleshy style with good structure.
