Dark spices intermingle with black cherry aromas on the nose of this full-bodied Greek red wine. Robust and smooth with terrific acidity for food. Black raspberry and smoke on the finish. Try this with prime rib tonight.

Xinomavro food pairings: hamburger.

Reviews and Ratings

Lovely art on the label: the font blends Greek and English to create the image of a hand-painted sign. The Greek word "Katogi" means "lower storey" and references the house where in the 1950s Evangelos Averoff made his first cabernet sauvignon in Greece from French vines. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
