Mallory & Benjamin Talmard Mâcon-Uchizy 2018, Mâcon-Uchizy, Burgundy A.C., France: A full-bodied, vibrant Chardonnay with green apple crunch, vibrant acidity and mineral flavours on the palate. The wine grapes are harvested from the southern end of Burgundy. The Talmard name is recorded in viticultural documents going all the way back to the seventeenth century. Food pairings: stuffed roast chicken, linguini with clams and fennel, grilled fish, lobster in butter sauce. Red Wine

Terra d'Aligi Tatone Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2016, Abruzzo D.O.C., Italy: A beautiful Montepulciano D'abruzzo vibrant with grippy tannins. Full-bodied and earthy with layers of ripe red berry, dark berry fruit, dark chocolate flavours with a lingering smoky and spicy finish. The wine was aged 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels. The wine was first produced in 1997, by Carlo and Adriano Spinelli. Tatone is the local word for "grandfather," and the name given to the wine because it reflected the strength and authority of their grandfather. Pair with bison burgers. Montepulciano D'abruzzo food pairings: pasta with Bolognese sauce, rabbit stew, roast chicken with olives.
