Velvety and smooth with ripe black plums, ripe blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, dark chocolate and smoky red pepper spice. Pair with roasted meats and peppercorn sauces. Delicious and the price points is pretty delicious as well.

Carmenère food pairings: wine-braised beef, game, pork, turkey with heavy sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Maipo Valley wine region, Viña Tarapacá 2018 Gran Reserva Carmenère is simply gorgeous. Fragrant and velvety smooth with ripe black plums, dark berries, earthy violets, dark chocolate and baking spice flavours finishing long on the palate. Full-bodied and plushy. Enjoy with grilled beef kebabs. - Community Wine Reviews
