A zesty, toasty and vibrant Californian Chardonnay from the cool-climate Russian River wine region with lemon curd, ripe peach, honeydew melon and apple pie baking spices flavours on the palate with a lingering buttery, toasty oak finish. The Frei family has been making wine for 126 years, starting in 1890 with Andrew Frei, who immigrated to California from Switzerland. Reviews and Ratings

From Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California Frei Brothers Winery 2018 Reserve Chardonnay is the classic Californian Chard from a cool-climate region. Fresh with layers of peach, melon, lemon, buttered toast and finishing spicy on the palate. Pair with lobster bisque topped with a dollop of coconut cream. Grapes were whole-cluster pressed to preserve fresh fruit flavours and the wine underwent full malolactic fermentation adding richness and depth. - Community Wine Reviews
