Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | Gold Medal at the 2012 Concours Mondial in Brussels. This fine Chilean Syrah (aptly named, as it comes across more like southern France than Australia) features aromas of blackberry, tar, roasted coffee and black pepper. Dry and fruity, deeply concentrated and rich but with impeccable balance brought to the package by fairly firm tannins. Cellar 3-4 years. Full-bodied & Firm. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, April 2012 |
