Meaty and fleshy plum aromas from the cork. Aromas of blackberry, violet, cedar oak, and smoked meat from the glass. Medium-bodied on the palate with ripe, dark fruits and subtle violet notes. Very smooth and well-balanced with very finely-grained tannins. Delicious and a great value! Tasted Oct/2012.

A dark, inky glass of wine with a nice earthy roundness on the nose that compliments all the dark berry fruit. It's got a little chewy texture and a sweetly spiced finish.
Opaque purple. Aromas of blackberry, apricot, violet and smoky spices show an exotic quality. Sweet and supple on the palate, with very good clarity to the dark fruit, candied flower and spice flavors. Finishes with a strong element of exotic spices and very good chewy persistence.
