Vintages Wine Panel: For over 100 years, the Catena family has been making wine in Argentina. Their Alamos line is characterized by outstanding fruit concentration and moderate oak ageing. Expect layers of crisp green apple and pear aromas and flavours interwoven with some toasty notes in the background. Enjoy it as a sipper. My note: You can’t beat this price for a solid Chardonnay with classic green apple, smoke and butterscotch aromas. Medium- to full-bodied with great balance. Food matches: grilled seafood, chicken.
