Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Amazing! Craving notes of cherry, earthy underbrush and baking spice in your Pinot? This is it! It's smooth lush body, lovely acidity, and long mouth watering got me craving more. Cherry and baking spice flavours are just as pronounced and lingering as the aromas. I say drink now! This wine was crafted in ridiculously small quantities (24 cases), so good luck finding it. I look forward to future Trail Estate Pinots, and altogether, though. Tasted Sep 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a gorgeous small production single barrel reserve Pinot Noir from Canada's Prince Edward County yielding only 24 cases and Barrel aged for 18 months in French Oak. Rich, luscious cherry and ripe strawberry, baking spice, earthiness, pomegranate and tart cranberry. Complex on the nose and palate, shows very well. Paired exceptionally well with grilled chicken with butter basted string beans and sautéed mushrooms. @jonsteeves rated 91/100 - tasted Sept 2016. Trail estate made it easy to fall in love with this exceptionally well structured wine. Enjoy.
