Full-throttle French wine yet surprising smooth and not tannic. Juicy, concentrated flavour of blackberry liqueur and dried tobacco leaves. Super divine with prime rib or roast beef.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

An elegant blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault with an aromatic nose of dark red fruit and subtle herbal touches. The luscious palate gives ripe red fruit, subtle spices & herbal touches with well-integrated oak. Satiny smooth mouthfeel and a long harmonious finish. A wonderful gift wine.
This southern French red wine is a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault grapes for the 2012 vintage. The grapes are selected from the best 30 parcels of vineyards on the winery estate. Serve at 16-18 degrees Celsius. Finished with anise, herbs and pepper. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
