Fantastic value under $20 for this Wakefield 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Clare Valley, South Australia. This is a juicy, full-bodied garnet red wine with a spicy nose and rich black fruits, meat, leather, cedar spice and vanilla flavours on the palate. This is your strip loin on the barbie red.

Reviews and Ratings

Perry rated this wine as 91/100
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Tons of flavour and a great value. Aromas of plum, currant, and some dried herbs, with a hint of eucalyptus. Full bodied, smooth, but with some structured tannins, beautiful ripe fruit, and a hint of pepper on the finish. Enjoy with marinated beef flank steak.
A juicy, spicy, made-for-the-barbie red. Smooth and vibrant on the palate with ripe blackberry, savoury herbs, mint, dark chocolate, toasty oak flavours. - Community Wine Reviews
