Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby in colour, this fruit-driven with is velvety on the palate with balancing acidity and flavours of black berry, cassis, raisin, vanilla, nutmeg, black pepper, and savoury forest floor. The flavours last on ripe finish.
Enjoy today, or keep until 2015.
Sip on its own, or pair with ribs, burgers, and cheese.
Date tasted: April 2014.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A bit closed, but some aromas of blackberry, backing spice and vanilla. Nice acidity, nice tannins, and some cherry in the flavour. Short tart cherry finish.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
