From Bodegas de la Marquésa, Valserrano 2015 Reserva is a full-bodied Rioja red blend of mostly Tempranillo and 10% Graciano. Supple and savoury on the palate with ripe dark cherry, plum compote mocha, spicy, meaty and fresh wild herb flavours elegant and spicy on the palate. Good now, better in 2022. Wine grapes are sourced from the Villabuena vineyards and the wine is aged in both French and American oak barrels. Pour with steak and ribs from the grill.

Lovely Rioja with aromas of dried cherry and ripe plums, with hints of oak and smoke. Full bodied, dry on the palate, with some soft, grippy tannins and bright acidity. Fruit on the palate is ripe and rich, with hints of oak on the finish. Enjoy with any grilled meats.
