Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The 2013 Sibaris Grand Riversa Pinot Noir is an incredible little wine packed with complexity and a remarkable balance. The nose shows clean developing aromas of fresh cherry, baking spice (all spice), a touch of earthy minerality and hints dried savory herbs. The palate reflects these concentrated notes with dominant tart cherry, savoury herbs and peppery spice notes. This medium bodied wine carries a mouthwatering acidity, young balanced tannins (medium), integrated (but still high 14% abv) alcohol and a long tart cherry and spice finish. This wine is an incredible bargain for quality and is showcasing the immense potential of the Chilean cool climate wine growing region, the Leyda Valley. This wine definitely benefits from breathing a bit so open early of decant. Enjoy with braised meats, especially pibil style pulled pork. Tasted Feb 2016.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Brilliant ruby red with garnet hue and declared 14?v, this is a wonderful cool climate Chilean Pinot Noir from DO Leyda Valley. Aromatics of strawberry, cherry, pomegranate aril, wet stone, savoury dry herbs and a hint of leather as well on the palate. This wine is well balanced with medium acidity, tannins, fruit. Well integrated and ready to enjoy now or cellar until 2018. This is a wine offering exceptional value and is designed to please at special events and celebratory occasions. Pairs very well with braised rack of lamb, roast pork tenderloin, or on its own. Tasted Jan 2016 after decanting 2h.
Lots of acidity on the palate of this Chilean red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes. Polished tannins. - Community Wine Reviews
