Produced by winemaker, Paul Pender, Tawse Quarry Road 2018 Pinot Noir is a classic PN from Vinemount Ridge, Niagara Peninsula wine region. Produced from organically-grown grapes, the wine is fragrant and vibrant with ripe blueberry, earthy violets, sweet spice flavours. The wine was bottled unfiltered from its lees and aged in French oak barrels. Tannins are gritty and there is excellent freshness and food-friendly acidity. Decant for one hour prior to pouring with lamb chops from the grill.

Outstanding Organic Wine

Reviews and Ratings

Trent Mayers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

To experience the magic that the late winemaker Paul Pender created, try this Pinot. It showcases pure Pinot fruit: raspberry, Montmorency cherry, cranberry with a milieu of violet, forest floor, smoke, resin, and earth. This is an excellent medium bodied Niagara Pinot that would make your Beef Wellington better.
