Natalie's Score: 87/100Vintages Wine Panel: Strewn’s Terroir line of wines are made from only the highest-quality grapes, and only produced in select outstanding years. This is an intense and flavourful Merlot with notes of blackberry, dark cherry, and earth, with an herbal undertone that adds a sense of depth and complexity to the nose and palate. This nuanced Merlot will pair easily. My note: Tangy blueberries and mouth-watering purple plums. I admire the effort here as it’s tough to ripen a merlot in a cool climate. Juicy and tasty.
Merlot food pairings: hearty braised beef, firm cheese.
