Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied blend from Northern California, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in oak, there are cedar and herbal notes on the palate with dark berries. Well-balanced with medium tannins and acidity, leading to a full finish. Serve with beef, steak or lamb.
Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A delicious moreish Californian blend of Cab, Merlot, Petit Sirah and Tannat, with maturation in American oak. It's big and full and rich with blackberry and chocolate notes. Great price for a high quality but easy drinking red. Try with parmesan dusted steaks with garlic spinach @wrightwineblog
From the North Coast of California St. Huberts' The Stag 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is a savoury and smooth mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with 9% Merlot, 6% Petite Sirah and 3% Tannat added to add structure and complexity. Look for dark plum, blueberry, dark cherry, earthy and savoury herb flavours on this smooth, easy-going Cali Cab. Tannins are supple. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
