Aged 15 months in American oak barrels. Won the silver medal at the 2007 Canadian Wine Awards. Aromas of cherry, blueberry and blackberry with a hint of cedar. A medium-bodied merlot with soft tannins. Balanced with a long finish.

Merlot food pairings: duck breast, red wine cherry reduction, mushroom lasagna, grilled steak and sauteed mushrooms, prime rib and mild cheddar, crusty bread.
