Vintages Wine Panel: Enticing aromas of spiced plum, cherry, dried herbs, smoked meat, coffee and tar. Sweet, spicy and savoury notes intermingle on the medium-full-bodied palate, along with bright acidity and some tannin presence for balance. Tasty red-cherry character emerges on the mid-palate. Poised, lingering finish. Will evolve over 1-2 more years, but drinking very well now. My note: Full-bodied and rich and dark and savoury with dried herbs and pleasantly bitter black cherry.

Amarone Della Valpolicella food pairings: rare roast beef, grilled lamb.
