From the Rioja wine region, Ramirez de la Piscina Crianza 2016 is a well-priced 100% Tempranillo red wine. Smoky on the nose with dark cherry, plum, sweet spice; dry, full-bodied and textured on the palate with ripe blackberry, cherry, cedar brush, wild herbs and vanilla flavours. Tannins are firm and structured. Good now, but with a little more integration time it will be great in 2022.

The Ramirez de la Piscina 2016 is a delicious wine from the Rioja Valley of Spain. Crafted to please, the wine shows aromas of fig, sour cherry, mustard seed, black pepper, cigar box and cedar. Crianza made and Tempranillo born, this Spaniard exposes a full body, refined tannins, supple acidity and a dry finish. Palate: dried blueberry, sour cherry, dried leaves, tobacco, cinnamon and cedar. Enjoy!
