Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This is a sensory trip worth taking. From Australia’s Barossa wine region, this Shiraz has vivid, delicious expressions of lightly ripe blackberries and dark plums teamed up with gorgeous accents of sweet herbs, eucalyptus, and chocolate from its lively aromas to its long fruit finish.

I’m captivated by how this Barossan feels going down. Its full bodied, bone dry, round, plush, with hints of right touch acidity and ripe, soft tannins. The entire experience is lovely. Enjoy.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Consistently delicious every year. Everything seems just a little more pronounced and heightened in terms of aromas, from notes of ripe blackberry, cherry, black pepper and cloves. Full bodied on the palate, with soft, drying tannins, and bright, balancing acidity that compliments those rich, ripe fruit notes. Finish is smooth with a hint of pepper. Enjoy with a grilled steak.
The Barossan 2019 Shiraz is a full-bodied, plushy mouthful of dark cherry, blueberry, mint, mocha, pepper and dark spices concentrated on the palate. A powerful and big red with velvety tannins made from an iconic producer. - Community Wine Reviews
