A superb value, especially at this price! This southern French red wine from the heart of the Rhone Valley is made by the Perrin family, which also produces the coveted Chateau Beaucastel and farm organically. Smoky, dark, rich and full-bodied, this is a superb wine for anyone who wants a drier style of Syrah (Shiraz). Pair with grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Consistent quality in this elegant Cotes du Rhône Reserve, with mouthwatering ripe plums, sous bois, dark chocolate and herbal notes. Smooth and velvety, this is one of the best wines on the market at this price point. An excellent choice with pepper pâté.
