This wine is kosher for Passover. It's a full-bodied, rustic red wine and one of the few we see from Israel in local liquor stores. It's imported by the respected winery Yarden and offers aromas and flavours of black fruit, toasty oak and tar. Decant 1-2 hours. Pair it with brisket.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Well balanced, integrated and tasty Bordeaux blend from Galilee, Israel, with fruit from the high altitude vineyards of Mount Hermon. Showing tart and tangy mouthfeel with medium acidity and grippy tannins. Red field berry, blackberry fruit, aged leather, savoury. Medium alcohol integrating well, declared 13.9%. Pairs well with braised red meats. Tasted 2016 vintage in March 2018 decanted 2h. 90 points

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
