Crisp and zesty with come-alive aromas and flavours of lime and lemongrass. Medium-bodied, no oak. Excellent aperitif or companion to many dishes from seafood to vegetarian.

The Marlborough region of New Zealand are known for Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. This Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and fresh with citrus and tropical fruits. Nice clean palate that will pair well with many appetizers.
Jane Staples Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Another beautiful SB from New Zealand, crisp and citrusy, mout-watering accompaniment for a shrimp salad.
Lesley Quinn Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

If you love Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc but are looking to try something new and at a better price point pick up Matua. Delicious mouth watering lime, and green apple notes, and that beautiful scent of freshly cut grass that makes NZ Sav Blanc so great. Try it with a shrimp bruschetta with goat cheese on top.
Hawkes Bay Sauvignon Blanc is matured and fermented in stainless steel using a variety of neutral and aromatic yeast strains.
