Luciano Arduini 2018 Valpolicella Ripasso is a full-bodied, supple Italian red wine blend of 40% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta and Croatina wine grapes. Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted, destemmed and gently pressed. Maceration lasts 15 days with manual punch downs and pump overs. The “Ripasso” technique is employed with Amarone grape skin contact for 10 days. Fragrant with aromas of ripe berry, dried red fruit, along with some smoky spice. On the palate, this Classico Superoire is concentrated with ripe blackberry, dark cherry, plum, dark chocolate, fine herbs, savoury spice and dusty tannins.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
