Subtle and complex with aromas of cigar box, leather, violets and black cherry. Full-bodied and mouth-watering. Love the taste and feel of maturity in this wine. Drinking well now though will also keep in the cellar for a few years. This full-bodied red wine is a blend of 85% Tempranillo, 10% Mazuelo and 5% Graciano grapes grown on 20- to 25-year-old vines. Pair with veal.
Tempranillo food pairings: herbed steaks, portobello mushroom, chili, soup, lamb chops.

|Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:|
Almost opaque garnet red with slow, viscous legs. Aromatic, dry and delicious! Ripe black cherries, cassis, floral notes, leather and cigar box on the nose. A rich, supple palate repeats the nose and adds a touch of black olive, then leads into a very silky, smooth, harmonious mouthfeel. Long delectable finish. Try with leg of lamb for a flavour party. Made for savoury tapas, such as roasted almonds, Jamon Serrano, olives and hard cheese.
