Butterscotch and vanilla smoke on the nose of this California Chardonnay from toasty oak aging followed by green apple and white peach notes. Full-bodied and generous with a nice finish. Let's have it with roast chicken tonight!

Chardonnay food pairings: turkey burgers, smoked king crab legs, chicken breast, cheese, pork loin topped with pineapple.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely nose with bright tropical fruit, followed by a palate that shows tropical fruit and lemon pith with very subtle oak. Very harmonious with a tropical finish.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The perfect sample size so there's no waste. Lovely and tropical with familiar California Chardonnay expression. Aromas and flavours of tree fruit, tropical fruit, butter and oak. The palate is rich with repeated tropical fruit, vanilla, nuttiness, toffee and a good fruit driven finish. Medium acidity. This is meant to be enjoyed now. Serve chilled.
Tasted: April 2015
Paul Burt rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Another good showing for the style and price point. Green apples, vanilla and a slight nutty profile are front and center, but as it warms a citrus presence shows itself - a slightly creamy viscous back palate creates a medium aftertaste.
This is the convenient half bottle size of this Chardonnay. Rich and creamy, this wine has a lovely mouth-filling texture and weight. - Community Wine Reviews
