A smooth and sensuous, medium-plus-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of plum, currant, blueberry, cedar and dark chocolate. Look for ripe dark berry, blueberry, mint, fine herbs, toasted nut and cedar spice flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm and pleasantly grippy. Drink or hold.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of currant and blueberry, along with hints of mint, cedar and warm spice. Medium-Full bodied, with some firm tannins that mellow with just a bit of time in the glass. Fruit flavours on the palate are rich but still maintain just enough tart acidity for balance. This wine is a great value, enjoy with your Sunday roast dinner.
Kaiken Ultra 2018 is produced by Kaiken's Aurelio Montes. This is a beautiful, sensual Cabernet Sauvignon, smooth and velvety with plum compote, liquid blackberry, blueberry, savoury spices, grilled herbs and dark chocolate flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm and pleasantly grippy. Pair with a roast venison. - Community Wine Reviews
