From Jean-Claude Boisset, Les Ursulines 2021 Pinot Noir is a silky, vibrant Burgundian PN from select grapes sourced from vines averaging 35-to-40 years of age. Dry, medium-bodied, juicy and generous on the palate with ripe cherry, raspberry, earthy florals and subtle toasty oak spice flavours on the palate. The wine was aged on its lees for six months in French oak barrels (10% new). Drink or hold, the wine will continue to evolve in bottle for the next three-plus years.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Bright and fresh Pinot Noir, with notes of cherry and raspberry along with subtle oak hints. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate with very slight tannins. Acidity is bright and lifts the red berry notes which are ripe with a hint of tart fruit. Clean on the finish with a touch of spice. Enjoy with pan-seared duck.
