Jumps out of the glass with brooding black fruit and black pepper. Full-bodied, supple and smooth. This is an incredibly concentrated and delicious wine. Loaded with flavours that persist on a long finish. Highly recommended. A stunningly great price. Pair with hearty meat dishes and celebrations of any kind.
Shiraz food pairings: braised lamb and tomato sauce, pasta bolognese, beef stew.

|Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:|
Piles of black berry, dark cherry, black pepper and cedar. Very complex secondary aromas of leather, earth ... amazing. Soft tannins, and a long blackberry and pepper finish. Good with red meats or on its own in the evening. The price of newer vintages is higher, but probably still worth it if they match this.
