J. Lohr Seven Oaks 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is the Thanksgiving dinner size (1500 ml) of this fragrant, lush and savoury red from Paso Robles, California. This vintage has 9% Petite Sirah, and 1% each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot added to the mix for more colour, acidity and structure. The wine is fragrant with blue florals and ripe dark berry aromas with bright red cherry, chocolate, smoky, spicy flavours concentrated on the palate. Drink or hold.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rich and ripe, with aromas of blackberry, cherry and a touch of raspberry, mingled with notes of mocha, and a touch of spice. Full bodied, smooth with a touch of tannins. Fruit and berry notes are rich and rounded, with a bit of spice on the finish. Enjoy with beef roast.
