Lovely pinot noir! Silky, layered and seductive with generous, fleshy aromas and flavours of cherry and spice. Perfect for planked salmon and marriage proposals.

Pinot Noir food pairings: salmon, cheese.

More Wine Reviews and Ratings

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rich fruit flavors with cherry and plum notes and a bit of black tea on the lingering soft finish.
Jane Staples Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Clear garnet red with aromatic red cheery and earth on the nose. Palate shows fresh red cherries and plum, mocha and earth. Bright acidity and long spicy cherry finish. Great with grilled duck or salmon.
The only irony surrounding this straight-shooting Monterey Pinot will be if you only buy one bottle, then later return to the store to see it's flown off the shelves (cue the Alanis Morissette song). Brimming with dark cherry, smoke and blueberry pie filling in a frame of elegant tannins, it'll cellar well for 1-2 years or make a great partner tonight for rare meats or flavourful cheese--don't cha think?
