I Castei Campo Casalin 2013 is absolutely delicious. Dried fruits, raisins, figs, baking spice and dark chocolate aromas on the nose. On the palate rich dark cherries, dried fruit and mocha flavours can be found. Tannins are grippy and there is good acidity for food. Enjoy with hard cheeses and roasted gamebirds.

I Castei Campo Casalin 2013 is a voluptuous rich Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico from the Veneto wine region. This is a towering red that will go the distance in your cellar -- drink now and for the next 10 years. Produced by Michele Castellani, this full-bodied Italian red blend of 70% Corvina Veronese, 20% Rondinella and 10% Molinara grapes, all tradition indigenous varies of the region. Wine grapes are dried on mats as is also tradition for he appassimento method before fermentation to add depth, colour and flavour to this muscular red with crushed dark cherry and raspberry flavours, mocha and spice. Very elegant and so easy to enjoy glass after glass. - Community Wine Reviews
