Lots of sweet mocha and cherry on the nose and palate. A bold, robust red wine that's bursting with dark, brooding fruit, and dark chocolate. This Italian red offers black cherry and smoke on the nose. Supple, with a long, satisfying finish. Try it with a hearty meat dish.

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with warm baking spices, dried dark fruit, and black plum on the beautiful bouquet. Medium bodied, it's lively and fresh with rich dark fruit, spice, and plum on the palate. Tasted February 2018. 91 pts. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
I Castei 2013 is a rich and robust Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico from the Veneto wine region. Lots of ripe liquid cherry, dark chocolate and smoky flavours on the palate on this blend of 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella and 10% Molinara. As is typical with Amarones, wine grapes are air-dried for four months and the resulting wine is aged in oak barrels and barriques. At 15.5% abv, pair with is a meaty stew, rustic lasagne or venison tenderloin in red wine sauce. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
