A smooth, full-bodied, juicy Cabernet Sauvignon from one of Israel's best winemaking regions. Lusciously flavourful with aromas of fleshy black plums and blackberries. Some smoke on the finish. Pair with a juicy steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From Upper Galilee, Israel a Cab Sauv showing fresh red/dark berries with mint and herbal aromas, followed by red berries, eucalyptus, mint and bell pepper on palate. Pronounced tannins, herbal finish.
Tasted Feb. 2017
This Kosher wine is from the Upper Galilee Galil Mountain Winery which is at an elevation of more than 1,000 metres above sea level, and one of the highest winery's in Israel. The winery's vineyards are at an altitude of 420 to 800 metres above sea level - comparable to the vineyards of northern Italy - which allows complex aromas and flavours to develop over an extended growing season. The wine was made and matured in tank to retain its fresh blueberry, blackberry and wild berry jam flavours. - Community Wine Reviews
