|Lesley Quinn - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:|
That raisin quality I most associate with Zinfandels is missing from this wine, but there is still lots of black cherry, and blackberry to be found. Full bodied, with a black pepper spic
e, velour tannins and a nice long finish. I sipped it alongside eggplant Parmagiana, a great veggie option, although this wine can also be a good pal to any grilled meat.
|This big, easy-drinking Zin was picked as a perfect tailgate party wine in The Miami Herald. Hearty, spicy black raspberry and cinnamon flavors, full-bodied, long finish. Source: Fred Tasker, The Miami Herald, Sept. 5, 2013|
