Hello spring day! Aromas of rhubarb-strawberry compote, tinge of sweet raspberry, mostly lovely mouth-watering juiciness. Lovely ballet slipper pink. Finishes crisp and clean. Spritely, refreshing and light with wild field berry aromas. Where are the chicken sandwiches and pate?

Rosé food pairings: stuffed peppers, green salads, olives, salty cheese, turkey sandwiches.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Brilliant pink colour in the glass. Dry with raspberry, strawberry, floral, and honey. An easy sipper on it's own or Easter dinner turkey or ham. This is a very enjoyable Niagara rose.
Tasted: March 2015
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The 2013 vintage won an impressive double gold medal at the 2014 Ontario Wine Awards. Featherstone's 2014 Rosé is a great wine for any occasion. Produced in a dry yet quite fruity style, it’s versatile, great on its own, chilled on ice in the summer sun, and complements charcuterie platters, grilled fish, or sweet and tangy BBQ dishes. Tasted March 2015. 88+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromatic raspberries and strawberries with a floral touch of roses on nose. The palate shows cherries and floral touches. Off-dry with a long cherry finish.
This lovely Niagara rose combines the fleshy berry flavours of red grapes with the vibrant, fresh ones of white grapes. Finishes with fleshy ripe cherries. Pair with fish dishes. - Community Wine Reviews
